About Me

My name is Kylie Larsen. I was raised in Rupert, Idaho. I started taking violin lessons when I was five years old and was taught using the Suzuki violin method. When I was about fourteen I started focusing on more classical and traditional repertoire. I recently earned a string pedagogy degree (fancy words for BMA in music with an emphasis in private violin lessons) from Brigham Young University-Idaho. I have been involved in several orchestra/symphonies, attended many years of summer music camps, been awarded 12 consecutive superior rankings in music festivals, and I am currently teaching five students. I have been playing for seventeen years and I love it! I have had some very influencial teachers in my life and I wanted to be able to share my love of music with others.

I am married to the love of my life Jesse. We are currently living in Rupert and enjoying our time here.
